Privacy Collection and Use Agreement Notice

2025 GyeongGi International Forum
This Privacy Policy describes the collection, use, retention, and protection of personal information processed by the 2025 GyeongGi International Forum (“the Forum”). By using the Forum’s services, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms outlined herein.
     
     
1. Personal Information Collected
The Forum collects the following personal information for membership registration, inquiries, and service applications:

- Name
- Affiliation
- Position/Title
- Mobile Phone Number
- Email Address
- Nationality
     
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Service usage records
- Visit logs
- Cookies
- IP address information
     
     
2. Purpose of Collection and Use
Personal information is collected and used for the following purposes:
(1) User identification, real-name verification, and confirmation of registration intent
(2) Delivery of notices, securing communication channels, and accurate shipment of event-related items
(3) Provision of personalized services and updates on new services
(4) Prevention of misuse, including unauthorized access and fraudulent activities
(5) Ensuring smooth operation and quality improvement of services
     
3. Retention and Use Period
(1) Personal information is retained only for the duration necessary to fulfill the purpose of collection and is destroyed without delay once that purpose is achieved.
(2) During the service period provided to Forum members, relevant personal information is retained. However, upon fulfillment of the purpose of collection, the information is destroyed in accordance with applicable policies.
(3) Users who violate the Terms of Use or disrupt service operations may be subject to forced withdrawal without prior consent.
     
     
4. Destruction of Personal Information
Personal information is destroyed without delay once the purpose of processing has been fulfilled.
     
4.1 Destruction Procedure
Information submitted by users is destroyed after its purpose is fulfilled, in accordance with internal policies and relevant laws.
     
4.2 Destruction Method
Personal information stored in electronic format is permanently deleted using technical methods that prevent recovery.
     
     
5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Forum does not provide users’ personal information to any third party without prior consent, except in the following cases:
- When the user has provided explicit prior consent
- When required by law or upon a lawful request from investigative authorities
     
     
6. Entrustment of Personal Information
(1) The Forum does not entrust personal information to external service providers without prior consent from users.
(2) If entrustment becomes necessary, users will be notified of the recipient, scope, and purpose of entrustment, and consent will be obtained as required.
7. Rights of Users and Legal Guardians
(1) Users and legal guardians may access, correct, or request deletion of personal information at any time, and may request membership cancellation.
(2) If correction of inaccurate information is requested, the information will not be used or provided until correction is completed.
(3) If incorrect information has been provided to a third party, the Forum will notify the third party without delay so that correction may be applied.
(4) Personal information deleted upon request will be processed in accordance with the retention and use period described above and will not be used or accessed for any other purpose.
     
     
8. Cookies and Automatic Collection Tools
(1) The Forum uses cookies and similar tools that store and retrieve user information.
(2) Cookies are small text files sent by the Forum’s server to the user’s browser and stored on the user’s device.
     
8.1 Purpose of Cookies
Analyzing access frequency and visit duration
Identifying user preferences and interest areas
Tracking usage patterns
Supporting targeted marketing and personalized service delivery
     
(3) Users may refuse cookie storage; however, some services may be restricted as a result.
